Coordination for Med Records for VA registration REFRAD'd Soldiers

Please pass to soldiers through the most expeditious means: This applies to all REFRAD'd soldiers registering at the VA for follow-on medical issues and those still in their terminal leave period who live or work in the NASB catchment area and want to make medical dental or optometry appointments.

When registering for the VA you will be required to sign a medical records release. A copy of this release should be dropped off to the MRC at least a week in advance of when you need documents from the outpatient medical record or a complete copy for your VA appointments. The original record WILL NOT be released to the VA.

NASB appointments: Please work through the MRC so that we can coordinate a date for appointments and transfer the required records down to NASB. Call LTC Schlieper 626-4421, Sheri Corriveau 626-4407 or SFC Drisko 626-7834.
