2 April 2012 » Be a Youth Page for the State House for a Day
In recognition of the service and sacrifice of Military children across America, there will be a Military Kids Day at the State House in Augusta on April 2, 2012. We are looking for 12-18 youth pages to work in the House & Senate from 9 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Youth ages 9-18 who would like to volunteer for this opportunity should call, or have their parent call,  the Maine National Guard Child & Youth Specialist, Steve Hughes at 430-5773 or email him at Steven.Hughes2@us.army.mil. Send your name, age, address, phone number, and email address. This is a school day, but most schools will see this as a learning program and give you an excused absence, but always check first! Deadline for sign up is Monday, March 5th and confirmation of selection will be emailed to you nlt March 9th.  Limited spaces are available so do not delay! Click here for details.

8-14 July 2012 » Youth Camp Week 1
Ages: 9-12 campers, 13-15 Cadets(ages changed this year), JC's 16-18 Cost: Non refundable $50 per Camper sent in with application. Applications will be returned if payment(s) were not submitted. Trans: Free Trans from Bangor and Augusta Staff must be present Saturday 1800 (6 pm) prior to the start of camp. Adults need to summit DD369(Police Back Ground Check) with application.
